Parent's Corner has grown from a simple idea into a movement that’s reshaping community life across Northeast Connecticut. Families stay longer, feel more welcome, and return year after year because they know they’ll have the support they need. Our presence reduces stress, removes barriers, and helps parents actually enjoy the moments that matter.
As demand continues to rise, so does the opportunity to build lasting change. Fairgrounds, festivals, businesses, and local organizations are requesting our services at a pace our current setup simply can’t keep up with. With the right support, we can expand our reach, increase accessibility at more events, and create family-friendly environments that benefit entire communities.
Parent's Corner is a 501(c)3 non-profit mobile solution creating comfort, dignity, and inclusion for ALL families - one event at a time. We provide private breastfeeding, pumping, and diaper changing areas as well as the often forgotten caregiver supplies like diapers, wipes, sunscreen, Band-Aids, etc. We also work with local businesses to install changing tables in both men's and women's restrooms, ensuring every caregiver can comfortably care for their child everywhere life takes them.

Making a Difference
Families want to be part of their communities — but many feel forced to leave events early (or skip them entirely) when basic supports aren’t available. Parent's Corner changes that. By offering clean, private, inclusive spaces for feeding, pumping, diaper changes, and low-stimulation breaks, we make public events welcoming for every family.
And the impact is unmistakable. Thousands of families rely on our services, organizers see longer event stays, and community partners continue inviting us back year after year. The need is real — and rapidly growing.
A Proven Community Need
At events like the Brooklyn and Woodstock Fairs, families waited in lines because no other safe or comfortable options existed. After seeing the response, multiple fairgrounds installed changing tables for the first time.

More than 1750 families used our services in in 2025. Parents consistently tell us they feel “seen, supported, and relieved”—and event organizers notice the difference too.
Events Last Longer for Families
When caregivers have a clean, private place to meet their children’s needs, they stay. Data shows families stay anywhere from 30 minutes to over 2 hours longer when we’re present.
Demand Is Outpacing Our Current Setup
Chambers of Commerce, festival organizers, and local nonprofits have asked us to attend all their events—but we can’t keep up with the volume without expanding our infrastructure.

Every family deserves access to a clean, safe, and dignified place to care for their children. Parent's Corner partners with local businesses, event venues, and community organizations to make changing tables a standard — not a luxury. Whether you’re requesting an installation, reporting a broken or dirty table, or letting us know a business has none at all, your submission helps us create more inclusive spaces for families across our region. The more details you share, the faster we can take action.
